Analysis Of Ubuntu

 Ubuntu is an operating system which based on the Debian Linux distribution and distributed as free and open source software.

• Data Management
  Data management is a part of information management which cover all action with accurately and safe from all disruption for user.
  Data management in Ubuntu has a little different from Windows, the difference is in authorities use.

• Process Management
  There are many meaning of process, such as :
  # Process is program which being executed.
  # Process is the smallest unit which has power and schedued by operating system
  Operating system rensponsible for all activity  which correspond with process management :
  @ Synchronization between process
  @ Communication between process
  @ Deadlock handling.
  Generally, management process in Ubuntu has mechanism almost the same with process management in other Linux.
• Process Types
  Interactive  : Process which begin with shell. It can appear outside ( foreground ) or inside ( background ).Batch : Process which not correspond with terminal, but wait for executed sequentially.
  Daemon : Process which started when Linux booting and start in background. This process wait for request from other process, when there is not request, then it in idle condition.
  In Linux, process characteristic divided into 3 parts, namely : process identity, environment, and context.
• Scheduling jobs
  There is 3 way for set command schedule in Ubuntu. First is command at, it determine a commad so that executed in specified time and date. Second is command batch, it is script which direcct you back to command at with additional option so that the command executed in the idle condition. The last is daemon cron, it is a Linux way in execute jobs in specified time.
